The Bahía Howard ( Spanish , in Argentina Bahía Ombú ) is a 4 km wide and 2.5 km long bay on the east coast of the Lavoisier Island in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located about 5 km south of Cape Leblond . Your entrance is limited to the south by Benedict Point .
Chilean scientists named them after the later Vice Admiral John Howard Balaresque, participant in the 17th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
