The station Enkhuizen is the largest station in the Dutch city Enkhuizen . The station is used by 2326 people every day (2018). It is the central hub in urban public transport. National regional and long-distance trains run at the station.
history
The station, opened in 1885, is located on the Zaandam – Enkhuizen railway line, which was opened to traffic at the same time . The station was built south of the center, directly at the city's harbor. This enables a direct transfer to the ferries to Stavoren and Medemblik . In Stavoren there is a rail connection in the direction of Leeuwarden .
