The Maastricht train station is the main station of the city of Maastricht . It is located on the eastern side of the Maas , in the Wyck district . The city has another train station, Maastricht Randwyck station in the southeast of the city. Maastricht is located on the Liège – Maastricht railway line, which is important for the region .
Operation and traffic
Three different transport companies operate trains in Maastricht. Not only trains of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen run here , but also trains of the transport company Arriva Nederland and the Belgian state railway NMBS / SNCB .

Bus transport
The bus station is located on the west side of the train station. This consists of two island bus platforms, one for urban bus traffic and the other for regional bus traffic. Buses also cross the border to Belgium and Germany here .
