Golling-Abtenau is an operating point on the Salzburg-Tiroler-Bahn .
construction
Three tracks run through the station, plus a through track. Accordingly, it has a side and a central platform. Platforms 2 and 3 can be reached via an accessible underpass with elevators under the tracks. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the tracks and the bus stop, while the Tauern Autobahn has a junction about one kilometer away .
traffic
Intercitys (IC), Eurocity trains (EC) and Railjets (RJ) such as the EC 217 from Saarbrücken to Graz stop at this station . Regional express trains (REX) close the interval between Schwarzach-St. Veit and Salzburg Hbf . In addition, the S3 of the Salzburg S-Bahn runs every half hour on weekdays.
It runs the regional bus route 470, which connects Golling with the Abtenau - Rußbach - Annaberg area. Line 170 runs parallel to the S3 to Salzburg as far as Hallein.
