Luton Airport Parkway station

The Luton Airport Parkway railway station is located at the well of Thameslink used Midland Main Line along the route from London St Pancras to Leeds . The station is managed by First Capital Connect and is served by the Thameslink trains. The station opened in 1999 and is located south-east of Luton and west of London-Luton Airport . There is a chargeable bus shuttle service between the train station and the airport which runs every ten minutes during the day and is coordinated with the train schedule at night.

From the station you can travel north to Bedford , Wellingborough , Kettering , Leicester , Loughborough , Derby and Nottingham . Passengers can also travel south to St Albans , London , Wimbledon , Sutton , London-Gatwick and Brighton .

In November 2008, the platforms of this station were the first to be extended on the Thameslink route to accommodate twelve car trains as part of the Thameslink program.
