The Middelburg railway station is the station of the city of Middelburg in the Dutch province of Zeeland . It is located on the Roosendaal – Vlissingen railway line , which runs from Vlissingen to Roosendaal.

The station was opened in 1872 and modernized in 2000 . It has two tracks and two side platforms, where an Intercity to Amsterdam or Vlissingen stop every half hour in each direction. Various bus lines that connect the station with the surrounding area stop on the newly designed forecourt. There is also a taxi rank and several bicycle parking spaces.

The station is a Rijksmonument .
