The Wörth (Isar) station is an operating point on the Landshut – Plattling railway line . It is the only train station in the area of ​​the municipality of Wörth an der Isar in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . The intermediate station was put into operation on May 15, 1880 with the opening of the section between Landshut and Pilsting .

The station is at route km 17.4 on the single-track , electrified main line Landshut – Plattling (route number 5634). The station has two platform tracks .

The train station is located around 500 meters northwest of the center of Wörth. The station building has the address Bahnhofstraße 22 . The station area extends roughly from the flyover of the LA10 district road in the west to just before the Postauer Strasse level crossing in the east.
