The Otjiwarongo – Outjo railway was the shortest railway line in Namibia from 1921 and was the only construction section of the Amboland Railway . It branched off from the main route of the connection to Otavi .
The route ran from Otjiwarongo in a north-westerly direction parallel to the C33 road in the direction of the Etosha National Park . The route was only operated irregularly by TransNamib in freight traffic and was dismantled in the 1990s.
