The Zabrze Mikulczyce – Tworóg Brynek railway is a former double-track and electrified railway line in the Polish Silesian Voivodeship .

The line began at Zabrze Mikulczyce station (Mikultschütz / Klausberg; km 0.018) on the Bytom – Wrocław line and ran north to Tworóg Brynek station (Brynnek / Brunneck; km 21.473) on the Tarnowskie Góry – Opole line .
It was consistently two-pronged and electrified with 3000 volts DC.
history
Due to the division of Upper Silesia in 1922 after the Peace Treaty of Versailles , the uprisings in Upper Silesia and the referendum in Upper Silesia , the Polish-German border ran between Brynnek , which is still German and Tarnowitz , which is now Polish territory, on the Opole – Vossowska – Tarnowitz route .
This line remained in operation across the border, and on October 7, 1928, a line from Brynnek to Mikultschütz was opened by the Deutsche Reichsbahn . With the annexation of the area to Poland in 1945, it was transferred to the Polish State Railways , was expanded to two tracks until 1982, and had been electrified since September 8, 1982. Passenger traffic was stopped on September 24, 1994 and the line was closed on November 27, 2000.
