Wieszowa (German Wieschowa ) is a village with 1,995 inhabitants in the municipality of Zbrosławice in Poland . The place belongs to the powiat Tarnogórski in the Silesian Voivodeship . It is located ten kilometers southwest of Tarnowskie Góry halfway to Gliwice on the trunk road 94 from Pyskowice to Bytom .

history

The place was probably founded in 1295. There is evidence of a parish church in 1376. The village, which had belonged to the Beuthen district since 1816 , to the Tarnowitz district from 1873 and to the Beuthen-Tarnowitz district from 1927, was renamed Randsdorf in 1935. After the Second World War it became part of Poland and was given the Polish name Wieszowa based on its old name .
