Bailey Olter
Bailey Olter (born March 27, 1932 in Mwoakilloa , Pohnpei , † February 16, 1999 ) was a politician of the Federated States of Micronesia .
He was Vice President of his country from 1983 to 1987 and then became President in 1991. In July 1996, he suffered a stroke that prevented him from exercising his office. The vice-president and soon-to-be successor Jacob Nena continued the official business instead.
