Bakary Koné (born April 27, 1988 in Ouagadougou ) is a football player from the West African state of Burkina Faso .

Career

society

He began his career at CFPTK Abidjan in the capital of Ivory Coast and from there came to Burkina Faso to the record champions Étoile Filante Ouagadougou . From there he moved to France in 2006 to EA Guingamp , where he was initially also used in the second team. In 2009 he won the French Cup with Guingamp . After five years in Brittany , in which he was relegated from the second to the third division in 2010 and promoted again a year later, first division Olympique Lyon signed him . After five years in Lyon, he moved to FC Málaga in the Spanish Primera División in 2016 .

For the 2018/19 season, Koné switched to MKE Ankaragücü . But in February 2019 he went to the Russian first division club Arsenal Tula .

National team

Koné has played for the Burkinabe national soccer team since 2006 , and in 2010 he was part of the squad at the African Cup of Nations in Angola. The defender has now made 79 international matches, but has not yet managed to score.
