Like the leaves, they are covered with large resinous glands, which makes the surface appear warty. The leaves are sessile, narrow-shaped, wavy on the edge, 10 to 12 millimeters long and 6 to 8 millimeters wide.
Generative characteristics
The flowering period extends from May to September. The flowers are single and terminal. The hermaphroditic flowers are about 4 centimeters in diameter and are radially symmetrical and five-toothed with a double flower envelope . The sepals are up to 6 millimeters long and stand at the fruit time. The bright yellow petals are about three times as long as the calyx. The numerous stamens are colored yellow and arranged in five clusters. The ovary is on top. There are five styluses.
The capsule fruit is sticky, glossy, egg-shaped and pointed.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 24.
Occurrence
