Balinka is a village and one of 39 school boards in the municipality of Sztabin in the Powiat Augustowski of the Podlaskie Voivodeship , Poland .
Up to three diesel railcars run daily from the local train station to Suwałki and via Sokółka to Białystok .
Until 1795 the place belonged to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . From 1975 to 1998 the village belonged to the Suwałki Voivodeship .
