Banneville-sur-Ajon is a former French commune with the last 383 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are called Bannevillais .
On January 1, 2016, Banneville-sur-Ajon was incorporated into the new municipality of Malherbe-sur-Ajon as part of a district reform together with the neighboring municipality of Saint-Agnan-le-Malherbe . Banneville-sur-Ajon represents the administrative seat of Malherbe-sur-Ajon as the "superordinate district".
