Barış Demirci (born February 13, 1986 ) is a Turkish ski jumper . He currently holds the Turkish record with 123 meters.

Demirci started as one of the first ski jumpers in Turkey on an international level. So he made his debut in the FIS Cup on October 7, 2006 . He reached the 27th place in jumping in Einsiedeln . On March 10, 2007 he was nominated for a jumping in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup for the first time and jumped to 52nd place in both competitions in Vikersund . In September 2007 he jumped four competitions in the FIS Cup with only mediocre success. In Oberwiesenthal and Falun , however, he could not achieve any top positions. His best place was 27th in Falun. In two Continental Cup competitions in Villach a short time later, he also missed the points and only ended up in 59th place. Despite these rather poor results for international competitions, Demirci is considered a pioneer in his country. At the end of summer 2007, however, he surprisingly ended his career.

Demirci lives and trains in Courchevel, France .
