Baraboj ( Ukrainian Барабой ; Russian Барабой Baraboi ) is a village in the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast with about 1500 inhabitants (2001).

The village, founded in 1794 ( another source says that the village was founded in the middle of the 19th century on the site of former Tatar villages) was an independent district council in Owidiopol Raion until November 2017 , to which the settlement Bohatyriwka ( Богатирівка , ) with about 200 inhabitants. Since then, the village has been an administrative part of the rural municipality of Dalnyk ( Дальницької територіальної громади Dalnyzkoji terytorialnoji hromady ).

The village is located at a height of 15  m on the banks of the 71 km long Baraboj , a tributary to the Black Sea , 8 km north of the Dalnyk community center , 8 km northeast of the district center of Owidiopol and 30 km southwest of the Odessa oblast center .

The trunk road N 33 ( regional road P-70 ) runs through the village . It has a train station on the Odessa – Basarabeasca railway line .
