Baran Özdemir (born September 28, 1993 in Miltenberg , Bavaria) is a German darts player with Kurdish-Arab roots who also worked as an actor from 2012 to 2015 .
Career
BDO / WDF
Baran Özdemir occasionally takes part in various tournaments of the BDO and WDF. His debut was the young Bayer at the French Open in Bray Dunes , where he reached the 17th place. His biggest success so far was the 2nd place at the Mediterranean Open 2018 in Antalya . His best performance so far was at the Cyprus Open in Bafra, where he played an average of 105 and was defeated 3: 4 by Russian World Cup of Darts participant Alexei Kadotschnikow in the round of 32.
PDC
Baran Özdemir took part in the German qualification for the PDC World Youth Championship 2016 . In 2017 and 2018, several participations in qualifying tournaments for the European Darts Tour followed . In 2018 and 2020 he took part in the Qualifying School . His greatest achievement was reaching the round of 32, which meant he couldn't win a tour card.

In 2012, Baran Özdemir received an offer as a small actor in the soap opera Everything that counts . Small roles followed, including in Tatort , Alarm für Cobra 11 , Danni Lowinski and Stromberg . In the cinema he participated in 300 words of German and lap prayers .
In 2015 he ended his acting career and has since concentrated on darts.
