The PDC World Youth Championship was a youth world championship in darts and was organized on November 27, 2016 for the sixth time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The venue was the Butlins Minehead Resort in Minehead .

The defending champion was Max Hopp . The winner was Corey Cadby , who could win the tournament for the first time.

Cadby was awarded a place in the 2017 Grand Slam of Darts in addition to prize money of £ 10,000 .

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in all rounds was a best of 11 legs . Each leg was played in double-out mode.

A total of £ 50,000 in prize money was distributed. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
