Ted Evetts (born August 3, 1997 in Warwick , Warwickshire ) is a professional English darts player . In 2017 he won his first Development Tour event at the PDC. His nickname is Super Ted ; his break-in music is Country Roads by the Hermes House Band .

Career at BDO

Ted tried to qualify for the BDO World Cup 2016, but failed in the quarterfinals against Jason Lowe. Four days after the defeat in the World Cup qualification, he played his first major tournament at the BDO. He reached the round of 80 at the World Masters.

Career with the PDC

Through the Development Tour 2015, Evetts qualified for the PDC Youth World Championship 2015, where he made it to the round of 32 and grossed £ 500. At the beginning of 2016, Super Ted secured the Tour Card at the Q School. Evetts played his first TV tournament with the PDC at the Grand Slam of Darts 2016, but he did not survive the group phase. In 2017 Evetts made his UK Open debut and won his first Development Tour event. At the beginning of 2018 Evetts made his debut at the PDC Darts World Championships in Alexandra Palace . In the same year he won two more Development Tour events. The Development Tour 2019 started strongly with Evetts 2 of 4 possible titles.
