Barbara Gantenbein (born July 1, 1961 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German - Swiss journalist and author of crime novels .

Life

Gantenbein studied marketing communication and psychology in Frankfurt and Berlin and worked for international advertising agencies, radio and television stations. During her time as a copywriter and creative group head, she was involved in campaigns for Fiat Panda, Nutella, Iglo and Kitekat.

Her journalistic career began in 1990 as an editor and presenter at Radio Antenne Niedersachsen in Hanover. She later moved to 104.6 RTL in Berlin . In 1993 her television career began with Sat.1 . There she was first in charge of the service , also moderated the early news from 1993 to 1995 as a newscaster and was in the picture as a reporter until 2009, u. a. as a car tester.

Gantenbein has published various short stories and detective novels since 2003.

For some time she lived in Australia and Spain, today she is a freelance writer and lives with her husband and son in Berlin.
