Barbara Stambolis

Barbara Stambolis (born November 10, 1952 in Kiel ) is a German historian and university lecturer .

From 1971 Stambolis studied history and German at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum . When Hans Mommsen doctorate it 1982 Dr. phil. Since 1999, habilitated lecturer , she was from the 2006 University of Paderborn for unscheduled professor of Modern History appointed.

Her publications deal with fields of cultural, mentality and social history (youth and generation history, childhood in World War II, denominational history, religious festival culture, gender history).
