Bartłomiej Neupauer (born August 24, 1991 in Nowy Targ ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has spent his entire career with Podhale Nowy Targ and plays with the club in the Ekstraliga .

Career

Club

Bartłomiej Neupauer began his career in the youth department of Podhale Nowy Targ , for whose second team he played in the second-class I league at the age of 15 . In the 2009/10 season he moved to the first team of the Polish record champions and was able to win his first championship title with them in the same season . After he had to spend the 2012/13 season with the club in the I league, he interrupted his career for three years. Since 2016 he is back in the Ekstraligakader of the club from Lesser Poland.

International

For Poland, Neupauer took part in Division I of the U18 World Championships in 2008 and 2009 in the junior division , when he was the best preparer and top scorer and also had the best plus / minus balance of the tournament and was therefore also voted the best player on his team, as well participated in the U20 World Championships 2010 in Division I and 2011 in Division II.

He made his debut in the men's national team in the 2011/12 season. But it was not until six years later that he was used for the first time in a major tournament at the 2018 World Cup , when the Poles had to accept relegation from the A to the B group of Division I.
