Bartholomew Joseph Eustace

Bartholomew Joseph Eustace (born October 9, 1887 in Cloyne , County Cork , Ireland , † December 11, 1956 in Wichita , Kansas , USA ) was Bishop of Camden .

Life

Bartholomew Joseph Eustace attended Christian Brothers College . Eustace studied philosophy at St. Vincent College and Catholic theology at St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee . He received on 1 November 1914, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 16, 1937, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Camden. The Archbishop of New York , Patrick Joseph Hayes , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25, 1938 ; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Boise City , Edward Joseph Kelly , and the New York Auxiliary Bishop Stephen Joseph Donahue .
