Bashkim Kadrii (* 9. July 1991 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football , the player with Kosovar roots since 2018 at Odense BK has a contract.

Career

society

Kadrii started playing football at B.93 Copenhagen in 1997 . In September 2008 he came to the first team of the club, which played in the third division of Denmark, and quickly became a regular. Kadrii aroused the interest of Borussia Dortmund , for whose reserve team he was supposed to play after a trial session. However, the club change failed due to the transfer demands from B.93 Copenhagen.

In July 2010 he moved to the Danish first division and has played for Odense BK since then . On September 16, 2010, Kadrii made his professional debut when he was in the starting eleven against Getafe FC in the Europa League . In the Europa League Kadrii came on a total of five appearances, in the league on 21 appearances (one goal). Odense was runner-up at the end of the season. After Odense failed in the Champions League play-offs , Kadrii came to four games in the subsequent group stage of the Europa League , while he made 32 appearances in the league and scored seven goals. From 2014 to December 2016 he played for FC Copenhagen and was twice champion and cup winner before he played on loan for Minnesota United in Major League Soccer for six months . Upon his return, he was loaned out to Randers FC for an additional year .

In the summer of 2018 he signed a four-year contract with his former club Odense BK .

National team

Baskim Kadrii played four caps for the Danish U-18 national team between 2008 and 2009, for which he scored twice. In the U-19 he played 18 games, scoring six goals. On March 28, 2011 Kadrii completed his only game so far for the U-20 national team of Denmark; in the 1-1 draw against Portugal, he was in the starting eleven and was replaced by Mathias Gehrt after 88 minutes.

On May 23, 2011 Kadrii was nominated by U-21 national coach Keld Bordinggaard for the preliminary squad of the Danish U-21 for the U-21 European Football Championship 2011 and made it into the final squad. On June 6, 2011, Kadrii also made his debut for the U-21s when he was in the starting eleven in the 4-0 win against Turkey and was substituted on for Matti Lund Nielsen after 72 minutes .

Kadrii was, in the tournament itself, both in the 0-1 defeat in the first group game against Switzerland and in the 2-1 win against Belarus. In the third group game against Iceland he also managed a goal, which was hardly of importance, since the Danes were eliminated after the preliminary round.

On August 10, 2011 Kadrii made his debut for the senior national team ; in the 1: 2 defeat against Scotland , Kadrii came on in the 76th minute for Michael Krohn-Dehli .
