Basel comment
As Basler comments are legal commentaries of Helbing Lichtenhahn publishing the major Swiss federal laws referred.
Frequency of publication
The Basel Commentaries are distributed by Helbing Lichtenhahn Verlag in Basel . As publisher draw professors at Swiss universities and Swiss lawyers .
The comments are intended to provide a "competent, compact and complete" overview of teaching and case law on the most important Swiss federal laws. Each volume comprises around 2000 pages, with the editions on the Civil Code , the Code of Obligations , the Criminal Code and the Federal Act on Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy each appearing in two volumes. The volumes are updated regularly and appear again every few years.
