Bausa (* 1989 in Saarbrücken ; real name Julian Otto ) is a German rapper who initially became known for working with Capo and an arrest warrant . He lives in Bietigheim-Bissingen .

Career

In 2014 Bausa appeared for the first time with the EP Seelenmanöver , which was released by Capo's label Hitmonks. Later the EP could be downloaded for free from the label page. There followed some features, among others he took part in the single Atramis of Bonez MC & RAF Camora , which reached number 36 in the charts, and the single Come on, let chill of Capo and in the song Circle of counterpoint K with. He also worked with Celo & Abdi , Sido , Miss Platnum and Prince Pi . His debut album Dreifarbenhaus was released in April 2017 and charted at number 10.

The single Was du Liebe nennst was released on September 29, 2017 and was ranked number 1 in the German single charts in the second week. The song stayed at number one for nine weeks, making it the most popular German-language hip-hop song of all time. It is also the first German rap single to hit the diamond record.

Bausa can also play guitar and piano, and composes his own songs in a Bietigheim recording studio.
