Bay Air Aviation ( Bay Air for short , registered as Nomad Aviation ) is a Namibian airline based in Walvis Bay and based at Eros Airport .
history
Bay Air Aviation was founded in 1993 and has been a charter company in scheduled and special flight operations ever since. In 2014, the parent company Nomad Aviation founded the airline Namibia flyafrica together with the Mauritian company Flyafrica .
Business areas
- Scheduled flights : Scheduled flights from Windhoek-Eros to Walvis Bay and Johannesburg were operated under the name CityLink for eight years until the end of 2008 . On October 14, 2010, Bay Air announced that it will operate the route from Windhoek via Walvis Bay to Lüderitz, which was discontinued by Air Namibia at the end of September 2010, from October 25, 2010 under the same name. From the end of 2012, Walvis Bay was served four times a week by Windhoek-Eros, while Lüderitz was served directly by Eros once a week. In 2014 all scheduled flights were discontinued.
