Westair Aviation (formerly Westair Wings Charters ) is a Namibian airline based in Windhoek and based at Eros Airport . The company was founded in 1967 and is the largest airline in the country by fleet size. Scheduled flights have been offered under the name FlyWestair since June 2019.

Destinations

From 2001 to December 2014, Westair offered a weekday return flight to Rosh Pinah from Windhoek-Eros, and since mid-October 2010 with an onward flight to Oranjemund . From December 2015 to May 2016, Tsumeb was served by Windhoek-Eros. Westair Wings also offers scheduled cargo flights as well as charter flights and “fly-in safaris”, transfers for tourists and private sightseeing flights, business flights, survey flights and freight and mail flights (for DHL ).

Scheduled flights between Windhoek-Eros and Walvis Bay were scheduled to start in April 2018. As the first scheduled flight connection, FlyWestair has been flying between Eros and Oranjemund since the end of June 2019 and between Eros and Ondangwa since the beginning of July. From October 7th, there will be four flights a week from Eros city airport via Oranjemund to Cape Town .

From June to September 2018, Westair operated all regional and national flights for Air Namibia, as their Embraer aircraft were under maintenance.
