The Bavarian dairy industry eG is a cooperative organized dairy company based in Landshut and production facilities in Bavaria, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.
History and members
The cooperative was founded in 1952 as BAYERISCHE MILCHINDUSTRIE eGmbH . The 28 shareholders include mostly producer cooperatives such as Milchwerke Mainfranken eG, Milchversorgung Hof / Saale eG or Elsterland Milch Liefergenossenschaft eG. Other shares are held by dairy companies.
