Beat Rudolf Jenny (born November 30, 1926 in Stein ) is a Swiss historian and teacher.

He grew up in Chur and attended schools there. From 1946 he studied history and German in Basel. In 1947 he continued his studies in Zurich and attended lectures and exercises with Karl Siegfried Bader , H. Barth, Marcel Beck , Rudolf Hotzenköcherle , E.
