Beat Zoderer (born May 26, 1955 in Zurich ) is a Swiss artist. He deals with installations , sculptures , wall objects, works on paper and collages .

Life

After training and working in architecture firms from 1971 to 1978, he has been a freelance artist since 1979. In 1986 he received a studio grant from the City of Zurich in Genoa , and in 1988 one from the City of Zurich in New York . From 1989 to 1991 he received a federal grant, which in turn was followed by a grant from the City of Zurich.

Zoderer was awarded a Manor Art Prize , Canton Aargau, 1995, a recognition prize from the 'Max Bill / Georges Vantongerloo Foundation', Zumikon / Zurich, 1998, and the Aargauer Culture Prize , 2009. He lives and works in Wettingen in the canton of Aargau.
