Beate fear

Beate Christiane Furcht (* 1974 in Jena ) is a German theater actress .

Furcht initially trained as an actress from 1995 to 2001 at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . In 2002 she was given a two-year permanent engagement at the Plauen-Zwickau Theater and was a member of the ensemble there until 2004. She played leading and supporting roles at the Zwickau Theater. Sabine played one of her important roles in 2003 in a stage version by Sonnenallee based on the film of the same name by Leander Haußmann . In the 2003/2004 season she played Countess Orsina in Lessing's tragedy Emilia Galotti at the Plauen-Zwickau theater .

Fear u. a. at the Krystallpalast-Varieté Leipzig (2005; 2008), at the Theater Panoptikum in Freiburg im Breisgau (2007; 2008), at the Theater Magdeburg (2008) and at the Neues Schauspiel Leipzig (2010). In 2008 she played the title role in a modern version of the fairy tale The Snow Queen at the Krystallpalast-Varieté Leipzig . In 2008 she took on the role of Miss Sherman in the musical Fame at the Magdeburg Theater . In the 2010/11 season she played Marie in a new version of Georg Büchner's play Woyzeck under the title Whyzeck at the Neue Schauspiel Leipzig . In March 2012 she gave a concert as a singer with tangos and milongas from Paris and Buenos Aires at the Neuen Schauspiel Leipzig together with the band Alma de Arrabal . a. with music by Tony Muréna , Osvaldo Farrés and Astor Piazzolla . With their tango program, Furcht u. a. in the New Palace in Bad Lobenstein (May 2013) and in the Moritzbastei in Leipzig (November 2013).

Occasionally, fear also took on film and television roles. In 2009 she played the “dark, evil queen” in the fairy tale film The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs . In the 1st season of the television series Veterinarian Dr. Mertens (first broadcast: October 2006 – January 2007) she was seen in an episode role as the nurse Beate.

Fear lives in Leipzig.
