Beau Mirchoff (* 13. January 1989 in Seattle , Washington as William Beau Mirchoff ) is a US-American - Canadian actor . He has starred in films like Scary Movie 4 and The Grudge 3 .

life and career

Beau Mirchoff grew up with his family in Victoria , British Columbia , Canada . His father Bill is a California podiatrist and his mother Kelley is a Seattle-born full-time housewife. Mirchoff has an older brother (* 1985) and a younger sister (* 1992). He attended Mount Douglas Secondary School in Victoria.

Mirchoff's first role was Bubbly Stiltskin . His first feature film was a role in Scary Movie 4 (2006), he played the role of Robbie Ryan, the son of Tom Ryan ( Craig Bierko ). In the CBC series Heartland , which was filmed in Canada, he played the recurring character Ben Stillman in the first season . Mirchoff played Andy in the sequel to the horror film Der Fluch - The Grudge 3 (2009) . The film was shot in Bulgaria .

In the sixth season of the series Desperate Housewives , he played Danny Bolen . Since 2011 he can be seen in the role of Matty McKibben in the MTV series Awkward - My so-called life . In 2013 he starred in the role of the magician Dominic in the TV movie The Return of the Wizards from Waverly Place alongside Selena Gomez .
