Publication and promotion
The first announcement by Beauty Killer mentioned a release in spring 2008. However, the release date was later postponed to summer 2009, meanwhile he released his second EP Cupcakes Taste Like Violence . In an interview with OrangeCounty.com regarding the album's release date, Star stated that the reason for the multiple postponements was that he had done some community service on a "gun possession charge" .
To promote the new album and to give the fans something to bridge the gap until the album's first single was released on April 21, 2009, Star released a remix cover of the Black Eyed Peas song Boom Boom Pow , which was offered as a free download. "Bitch, Please!" Was also made available as a stream on Stars' MySpace page in late August. This was followed shortly after by "Fame & Riches, Rehab Bitches", which made its debut on Stars' PureVolume website in September. The next day, the star released “Louis Vuitton Body Bag” on his YouTube channel. The entire album was available as a stream on his Myspace page on September 19, 2009.
Star played on the Warped Tour 2009, followed over the summer by the America section of his I'm-Pregnant, -Let's-Party tour. Shortly after the album was released, Star announced a two-week winter tour of North America: "I'm Cold, Keep Me Warm ... Bitch!" However, the tour was canceled due to personal reasons in his family that were out of control. Star started a world tour entitled "2 Drunk 2 Fuck 2010" where he will "go anywhere ... and yes, that means Europe and Australia ". This was his first title tour that he played for the new album.
A music video for "Prisoner" was originally planned for September 2009. It has since been replaced with " Get Away With Murder, " which was filmed on November 7, 2009. The video premiered on the main MySpace page on January 23, 2010. Star confirmed that there will be a music video for Beauty Killer.
