Boom Boom Pow is a song by the Black Eyed Peas and was the first single from the album The END.The single was downloaded 465,000 times on digital releases in the first week, ranking third on the list of the most downloaded songs in a week of all time . Thus Boom Boom Pow rose directly to first place in the USA and Canada . Boom Boom Pow was started back in 2008. The band member will.i.am produced the track on the Roland TR-808 drum machine .

On March 10, 2009, the song was heard for the first time on the radio. It has been available digitally in Germany since April 10, 2009. The song has been available on CD since May 8, 2009. The American Billboard magazine received Boom Boom Pow positively and said that the track showed the Black Eyed Peas in good shape.

Music video

Fergie said in an interview with The Insider that the video was taped on March 8, 2009. The making-of of the video was published on MTV on April 8th. The music video, produced by Mathew Cullen, had its world premiere on April 18th, along with the new Black Eyed Peas channel on Dipdive.

The Grammy Awards 2010 was Boom Boom Pow in the category Best Short Form Music Video Award.
