Music video

The music video for My Humps was directed by Fatima Robinson and Malik Hassan Sayeed. The music video premiered on TRL in 2005 . The music video shows Fergie dancing with background dancers. Fergie wears expensive luxury symbols such as Louis Vuitton jewels . The other band members -  apl.de.ap , Taboo , and will.i.am  - sing about how they admire Fergie. Fergie raps and sings about her hips, curves, buttocks and breasts (lovely lady lumps). Fergie also sings about wanting to be treated like a sex object. In some scenes, Taboo, Apl.de.ap, and will.i.am are erotically danced by dancers.

The music video won an MTV Video Music Awards in the Best Hip-Hop Video category on August 31, 2006 .

criticism
