The next week, it was at number 19 on the charts. The Time (The Dirty Bit) took 2nd place in the UK dance charts as well as in New Zealand . In the first week, the song reached the top ten of the Australian charts and was number 1 for two weeks. The song also reached the top 10 in Ireland and the Netherlands. In Germany , it reached the top of the charts in January 2011 after three weeks at number two , on which he stood for a total of four weeks.
