Rebecca Sara Newton (* 4. July 1978 in New Haven , Connecticut ) is an American actress .

Life

The actress grew up with her brother Matt in Guilford , a city in the US state of Connecticut. While still in school, Newton gained her first acting experience in local theater performances and musicals. She later studied in Europe and South America, among others, before completing her studies in European history at the University of Pennsylvania .

The actress then moved to New York City , where she starred in several television commercials and hosted an interview show called Movie Junky . Guest roles in television series followed, such as in Charmed - Magic Witches and Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten , before she played a supporting supporting role in the 2006 series Alles Betty! received. In the sitcom How I Met Your Mother , she appeared as a supporting actress from mid-season 7.

Becki Newton has been married to Canadian actor Chris Diamantopoulos since May 12, 2005 and had a son in November 2010.
