Chris Diamantopoulos (born May 9, 1975 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor of Greek descent.

Life

Diamantopoulos grew up alternately in Greece and Canada and made his debut for commercials in front of a television camera at the age of nine. Later, his first stage appearances as an actor and singer at local and regional theaters followed; an artistic career followed. At the age of 18 he became a member of an acting company with which he toured North America and ended up on Broadway . In addition to his participation in some theater plays, he also played in film and television productions from 2000. In 2005 he was nominated for Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Mork & Mindy' at the Gemini Award .

Apart from acting, Diamantopoulos is also a sought-after speaker , who sometimes also does dubbing. He has been married to American actress Becki Newton since May 12, 2005 .
