Up All Night is an American comedy series , which was produced from 2011 to 2012 and in the US at 14 September 2011 TV channel NBC premiered. The German-language first broadcast began on July 5, 2013 at Comedy Central Germany .
In May 2012, NBC extended the comedy series with a second season with 13 episodes, which aired from September 20, 2012. On October 30, 2012, it was announced that the series for the final episodes of the second season had been converted from a single-camera setup, in which the original motifs were filmed, into a multi-camera sitcom, which took place in front of a live Audience is recorded, is redesigned. In February 2013, however, NBC abandoned these plans and finally discontinued the series in early May 2013.
Shortly after the restructuring became known, leading actress Christina Applegate announced that she would be leaving the series after series creator Emily Spivey left the production in January.
