Eva Charlotta Röse (born October 16, 1973 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish actress .

Career

Eva Röse began her career as a presenter on Swedish children's television and then studied at the Dramatens elevskola theater school in Stockholm . After successfully completing her exams in 1998, she took on roles at the Stockholm City Theater , the Royal Dramatic Theater and in several movies. In German-speaking countries, she was mainly known for the film adaptation of the crime novels by the Swedish writer Anna Jansson , which was broadcast as a film series under the title Maria Wern, Kripo Gotland on the television program Das Erste , where she played the main role of Commissioner Maria Wern .

Private

Eva Röse grew up as the youngest of four sisters. She has been married to the photographer Jacob Felländer since 2014 . The couple has four sons. Her hobbies are horse riding, dancing, singing, acrobatics, fire-eating and martial arts. In addition to her native Swedish, she speaks English, German and French. She has been campaigning for human rights at UNICEF since 2007 .
