The Beckstedter Bach is a flowing body of water in the municipality of Colnrade in the joint municipality of Harpstedt in the district of Oldenburg in Lower Saxony .

The approximately 5 km long stream has its source southwest of the Harpstedt patch . It flows first in a northerly and then in a westerly direction south of Beckstedt , the district of Colnrade that gives the stream its name. The confluence with the Hunte is about 1 km north of Colnrade.

In the winter of 2017/2018, the lower part of the Beckstedter Bach will be renatured by the Colnrade fishing association. The new approximately 70 centimeter deep stream is lengthened by meanders . At the same time, the water flows faster and less sand is deposited because the new section, around 800 meters away, is narrower than before. After the cut into the Hunte , the stream inlet to the oxbow lake is shut down.
