Beethoven Philharmonic

The Beethoven Philharmonie is a symphony and opera orchestra based in Baden near Vienna ( Austria ).

The orchestra was founded in 1995 as Sinfonietta Baden (until 2016) by Thomas Rösner , who continues to act as its artistic director. It has a cycle of concerts in Casino Baden . Performances took place in many places, for example at the Bruckner Festival in Linz , the KlangBogen Vienna , the Haydn Festival in Eisenstadt and the Millstatt Music Weeks .

In 2008 a cycle for schoolchildren was introduced at the Wiener Musikverein . The Beethoven Philharmonic has played as the orchestra of the Operklosterneuburg since 1999, and has played in productions at the Vienna University of Music since 2009 .

The Beethoven Philharmonic performed together with, among others, Till Fellner , Paul Gulda and the brothers Renaud and Gautier Capuçon .

Conductors who worked with the orchestra include Enrico Calesso , Christoph Campestrini , Christoph Ehrenfellner , Guido Mancusi , Peter Marschik , Andrés Orozco-Estrada and Vinzenz Praxmarer , Johannes Prinz and Uwe Theimer .
