Ossuary (Brasparts)
The ossuary in Brasparts , a French commune in the Finistère department in Brittany , was built in the 16th century. In 1914 the ossuary was included in the list of architectural monuments in France as part of the enclosed parish as Monument historique .
The rectangular building made of local granite has an arched portal and six coupled arched windows. There is a large tracery window on the southern gable end . The gable roof is covered with slate .
Death is depicted as a grim reaper on the southern gable, and the resurrection on the northern gable.
