The ossuary in Guimiliau , a French commune in the Finistère department in the region Brittany , was built 1648th In 1906, the ossuary next to the Church of St-Miliau was included in the list of architectural monuments in France as part of the enclosed parish as Monument historique .

The building made of local granite has an ornate portal on the south side , which is framed by two columns and crowned by a round gable. The inscription " MEMENTO MORI " (Latin. Be aware of mortality ) is carved over the portal .

There are two coupled arched windows to the right and left of the entrance. After the ossuary was converted into the Ste-Anne chapel , a pulpit was built into the window to the right of the entrance .

The gable roof is covered with slate , on a gable tip and on the southern gable corners rectangular roof turrets are attached.
