Ossuary in Cléden-Poher

The ossuary in Cléden-Poher , a French commune in the Finistère department in Brittany , was built in the 16th century. In 1983, the ossuary on the Place de l'Eglise was included in the list of architectural monuments in France as part of the enclosed parish as Monument historique .

The Renaissance- style building made of local granite has an ornately framed arched portal and four coupled arched windows on the west side . The gable roof is covered with rectangular stone slabs.

The gables are decorated with figures that symbolize death.
