Beit Jann ( Arabic بيت جن, DMG Bayt Ǧann , Hebrew בית ג'ן) is a village with 11,864 Druze inhabitants (as of 2018) in the northern district of Israel . It is located about 15 kilometers northeast of Karmi'el and 10 kilometers south of the border with Lebanon on Mount Meron at an altitude of 940 meters above sea level, making it the highest settlement in Israel. The first mention of Beit Jann can be dated to the 11th century.
