history
In 1650, the Estancia Nuestra Señora de la Pura y Limpia Concepción was built in the area of today's Bell Ville, in a place that was previously uninhabited but was known as Fraile Muerto , because the body of one of the people is believed to be there a predatory priest was found killed. It was not until the second half of the 1860s that the area began to flourish with the construction of the railway line between Rosario and Córdoba.
