Benedetto Ghiglia

Benedetto Ghiglia (born December 27, 1921 in Fiesole ; † July 4, 2012 in Rome ) was an Italian film composer .

Life

Ghiglia began his artistic work for the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and wrote film scores for over thirty films between 1965 (he had already worked for the documentary film Delta Padano in 1951 ) and 1997. However, he continued his work for theater productions, for example in 1976 for the musical one Commentary on Aristophanes ' The Frogs , or, more recently, for the Teatro Fraschini . Occasional work for television can also be found in Ghiglia's list of works.
